Dahi puri is the cousin of the more commonly available street food of India commonly known as Gol Gappa, pani puri or Phuchka, depending on which part of India are you located. In Kolkata where I’m from, this is known as Phuchka.
Bhel Puri is very easy to put together assuming you have made all the other components of making this delicious appetizer.
Raita is a staple condiment at just about every Indian table. This condiment is great because the sour cream and yogurt has a cooling effect on the pallet when contrasted with the heat that can accompany other Indian dishes such as curries and kebabs. Traditionally raita’s primary ingredient is yogurt, along with spices, chopped red onion and cucumber. In our raita we combine whole milk yogurt with sour cream to give the raita richer and creamier taste.
